As a new Amazon seller in the UK, it's important to have control over where your products are listed and sold. While Amazon's European marketplace integration offers exciting expansion opportunities, you may want to start by focusing solely on the UK market. Here's how to adjust your settings to sell exclusively on Amazon.co.uk.

Why Focus on One Marketplace?

  • Simplifies your selling operations
  • Reduces complexity of managing multiple marketplaces
  • Allows you to master one market before expanding
  • Helps avoid unintended international orders
  • Provides better control over shipping costs and logistics

Step-by-Step Guide to Limiting Sales to Amazon.co.uk

1. Deactivate Other European Marketplaces

  • Sign in to Seller Central
  • Go to Settings > Account Info
  • Select "Holiday Settings" for each marketplace:

2. Update Your Shipping Settings

  • Navigate to Settings > Shipping Settings
  • Uncheck international shipping options
  • Ensure only UK shipping methods are selected
  • Save your changes

3. Verify Your Settings

  • Confirm your shipping options are limited to UK addresses
  • Review your account settings to ensure all changes are saved

Future Considerations

When you're ready to expand beyond the UK market:

  • Reactivate desired marketplaces by removing holiday settings
  • Update shipping settings to include international options
  • Review local regulations and requirements for each marketplace
  • Consider using Amazon's European Fulfillment Network (EFN)

Pro Tips:

  • Keep your listings updated while marketplaces are inactive
  • Monitor your account settings regularly
  • Save your original marketplace settings for future reference
  • Document any specific requirements for each marketplace for future expansion

Need Additional Help?

❗ Remember: You can always expand to additional European marketplaces when your business is ready. Starting with a focused approach in the UK market can help build a strong foundation for future growth.

Amazon charged me 0.20 GBP to amazon AE - what is this?

Upon googling, it looks like amazon UAE store - my deposit method isnt set up there, i assume it was an authentication payment of some kind?

My bank flagged it for fraud and they are asking me to clarify it

Hi everyone,

This evening, we’ve been hit with hundreds of sudden charges on our account under the description:

"Carrier delivery label adjustment due to under-charged delivery label"

These adjustments are:

Hitting all at once with no prior notice

Going as far back as April 2025

All related to EVRi Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) shipments

Providing no clear breakdown or calculation of how the so-called "undercharge" was determined. All we can see is that its a duplicate charge to the original buy shipping charge.

This has caused massive billing disruptions and we're concerned it may be a system-wide issue or billing error. A few example order IDs show the same problem with duplicate or unexpected label charges retroactively applied.

We have raised this with both EVRi and Amazon support, but are still waiting for an explanation or fix.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Would appreciate hearing from other SFP sellers (especially those using EVRi) to understand if this is isolated or affecting others too.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Banking verification
by Seller_vZEymUp2OA5lJ
Amazon replied

I am trying to verify my bank account with Amazon seller account and it’s saying verification needed and asking me to verify it but NOT allowing the verification

I’ve tried swapping to another card but same thing happens it’s asking for the 1euro transaction but won’t actually do it.

It’s done it for some nations but not all and charged me for the 1euro or 1 pound for the account verification but hasn’t verified anything.

It’s charged me multiple times for the 1 euro but still not accepting the card.

Does anyone have any info on this and how to make it work

Thanks

Hi I have been ignoring the alert to update my selling information and today saw my account put on hold until i uploaded the info required. I did this earlier today and submitted but nothing has changed. Tried submitting multiple times but still nothing. Spoke with seller help and they said i haven't yet pressed submit. Tried using different docs and still no change.

Does this normally take a while to be looked at or should it be pretty instant? After i click submit the next page says the information is being reviewed and the page will refresh in 30 seconds. After a minute or so it refreshes and prompts me to "review and update my selling on amazon account information". Back on the dashboard there is nothing to say my uploaded information is under review and there is no sign of any change after pressing submit except I get a performance notification which states "We are conducting a review of your Amazon Payments Account. We need additional information or documents to continue with your account verification. In accordance with regulations, you must complete an account verification process. Please go to the Identity Information page to provide the required information or documents:"

Am i doing something wrong? My account has been on hold all day and I can't see how to get it back active again. I have checked each document fits the criterea they have asked for and that all information provided matches.

Many thanks for any help that can be offered!

Honestly, all I ask is they actually read the case notes and look at attachments. Is that really too much to ask?

If anyone with any sort of clout at Amazon happens to be reading this, just spend 10 minutes reading some Support Cases, the replies from Amazon Support Staff are literally pointless.

This is just 1 example, I gave up.

Amazon keeps rejecting my UTR document.
by Seller_R3dLd4IbdHcej

hello there sellers I need some help regarding 'identity verification' process.

Recently amazon has asked me to provide them with new documents, however I can't wrap my head around why it keeps getting rejected.

I have requested a new document from the HMRC application and so it's up to date.

It has my name etc on the document and also the UTR number displayed clearly.

The photo has been taken clearly of the full paper, however, I'm disappointed in this system as I have a large payout on hold which I really need to aquire.

Did anyone else experience this issue and if so, what can be done to get this approved as soon as possible?

WHY BUY BOX GOİNG
by Seller_yGq0TF8nUbt70
Amazon replied

Hello,

I’ve been actively selling on Amazon for several months, but I’ve noticed that my store is not receiving the Buy Box at all, despite maintaining acceptable metrics in many areas.

As you can see from the attached account health overview:

• My Order Defect Rate is 2.5% (due to a single negative feedback)

• I have 0 A-to-Z claims, 0 chargebacks, and 100% tracking rate

• There are no critical safety or authenticity issues

What’s even more confusing is that my spouse’s store, with a higher ODR (around 3.5%), is consistently getting the Buy Box — while I am not, even on the same listings.

I would sincerely appreciate if the Buy Box suppression on my account could be reviewed.

Thank you in advance for looking into this matter.
