Buyer unable to process a return request
Confused. Buyer is trying to return a faulty Garmin Forerunner GPS sports watch but keeps getting the message ’item is non-returnable’. He’s not out of time/policy so he should be able to do a return request. He’s tried both through the app and using a browser but cannot do the return request no matter how much he tries. I cannot fathom why he should be presented with this message/error, I’ve had a buyer return for a fitness watch in the post and should in no way be classed as a non-returnable item. Any thoughts?

have you checked the original asin is not incorrectly listed under a wrong category.

Abit round about - But can the buyer not ship the item back to you ad-hoc using your registered business address on your seller profile, then you can refund the item?

Why don’t you purchase a label from Parcel2Go or direct from the delivery company screenshot it and message it to the buyer, when watch is returned just manually refund them? Just put the customer address as the collection address and your address as the delivery address. It will probably save you a lot of time and the customer won’t be frustrated with the wait, it will also make you look reliable and proactive to the customer. Less chance of bad feedback or a claim that way and will probably be cheaper for you as well.
You should also inform Seller Support that there is a problem and hope that they fix it for the future.
