Subscribe and save eligibility query

We were hoping to enrol our ASIN in the subscribe and save programme as believe it would be beneficial to repeat purchase customers to offer this facility. The criteria appears to revolve around the product being replenishable every 6 months or less by the customer and having good stock levels at all times. We believe we meet both these criteria with our product, but the Amazon computer says No!

I asked Seller central how we could put a case forward to show eligibility for the scheme but was told that its at the mercy of amazon deciding what products it thinks are eligible.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make a case to show that the product should be considered for subscribe and save, or do we just have to obey the amazon algorithm that has determined the ASIN does not fit?

Thanks!

all the help page says is 'For Fulfilled by Merchant products, contact Selling Partner Support if you have products that you deem eligible according to our criteria but which are not enrolled in the programme.'

So if amazon are saying its at their choice - that is the answer.

We got items added seemingly randomly. Most made sense, they were consumable goods - but we'd have items like a Metal Doming Set in subscribe and save. You might need a new one every 5 or so years - but still, it was completely illogical.
