Amazon Overselling Products
Recently I've noticed we're having more and more issues with Amazon selling more units than they are told is in stock. Does anyone else have this issue?! Any tips on how to stop it?! I'm getting tired of cancelling orders and getting bad reviews because Amazon decided to sell 12 units when there's only 10 available for example! Not happening on all lines, no specific routine for which items it's happening to either

Not something that has happened to me.
Do you by any chance have any 3rd party software running in the background that might be updating stock levels without your knowledge?

I hear what you are saying about the Shopify connection but if it was me, this is where I'd be looking. I have little doubt in my mind that this is where your problem lies.

We experienced the same issue when Amazon unexpectedly activated the Subscribe and Save feature, which caused numerous problems, and as a result, this option has now been removed for us.

We have seen this too, where an item was FBA only showed zero stock at Amazon and then the same SKU sold stock from us despite being an FBA listing ? never got to the bottom of it and it happens periodically

It happened to us to a product we just listed and had 0 stock. Amazon starting selling the item even though it was out of stock, but also sold it both as FBA and FBM so it was a big issue.
In the end it turned out it was a glitch in their system and they cancelled all the orders.

yes, they do it. And support is useless, blames it on third party inventory sync softwares but the problem is they sell FBA items that are out of stock as FBM which is ridiculous
